Vendor needs to provide vital statistics coding service for vital statistics data. – Provide information management services to support the manual coding of the causes of death on mortality and death records for the national vital statistics system.– Provide cause–of–death coding services to the DVS, Data Acquisition, Classification and Evaluation Branch for those records rejected through the DVS automated coding system or for the purposes of quality control.– This work will be electronically assigned randomly or by priority for completion.– Coding of causes of death on mortality and death records:– Contractor staff shall code the volume of purchased records on an ongoing basis, starting no later than one week after contract award and provide continual service.– Transition–In and continuity of performance:– Contractor shall submit a written Transition–In Plan to the Contracting Officer no later than five calendar days after contract award.
