Supply and Delivery of Certified Sand Material for Landfill Protective Cover Layer (Sand Drainage ASTM and USCS Specific)

INVITATION TO BID (ITB) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF HERNANDO COUNTY, FLORIDA, IS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR: ITB NO. SOLICITATION # 'Project ID FOR 'Project Title The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, ("the County"), is soliciting Vendors/Contractors to supply and deliver approximately forty-two thousand (42,000) to one hundred forty thousand (140,000) tons of Protective Cover Layer Sand. The estimated tonnages equate to approximately thirty thousand (30,000) to one hundred thousand (100,000) cubic yards of protective cover sand for a new garbage cell construction. The requested Cover Layer Sand must be a previously tested material conforming to USCS (Unified Soil Classification System) standard of D2487 classification. Offers for furnishing the above will be received and accepted up to Proposal Submission Time , local time, 'Proposal Submission Date , via the Hernando County Procurement Department eProcurement Portal . Only electronic submittals shall be accepted by the County. The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received in accordance with the Bid Documents and the Hernando County Procurement Ordinance.
