(1) Vendor needs to provide campus trash and recycling compactors service to the government authority located in Athens, GA.• provide and deliver trash and recycling compactors in various sizes to support the University’s campus–wide waste management operations.• Provide two (2) 35 cubic yard self–contained compactors, one for trash and one for cardboard.• Minimum Steel Thickness Specifications:• Container/Charge Box/Compaction Floors: Minimum 7–gauge, 0.5 (1/2) inch thick • Container Sides/Walls: Minimum 7–gauge, 0.1875 (3/16) inch thick steel plate (supported by structural angles and/or vertical channels)• Ram Top: Minimum 0.375 (3/8) inch plate• Ram Face Plate: Minimum 0.5 (1/2) inch thick heavy–duty steel plate• Group P1: Stationary Compactors– 20 Cubic Yard Charge Box for Stationary Compactor– 25 Cubic Yard Charge Box for Stationary Compactor– 30 Cubic Yard Charge Box for Stationary Compactor– 35 Cubic Yard Charge Box for Stationary Compactor– 40 Cubic Yard Charge Box for Stationary Compactor(2) The contract period will be for one year.
