These services also strive to reduce food and nutrition barriers that negatively impact health. – Nutrition support services must be provided in accordance with evidence–based nutrition and food safety guidelines, be person–centered, consider dietary preferences, and be culturally appropriate.– Medically Tailored Meals: Provides an individual with a health condition with nutritious meals tailored to improve their health outcomes.– Fruit and Vegetable Provisions: Allows an individual or organization to purchase or provide fruits and vegetables from participating food retailers and farms.
