Vendor needs to provide book scanning services using scanning resolution of 300 PPI in PDF file format.• One OCR scan service of one book containing approx. 328 pages into a print ready PDF.• Scan will be used for offset printing of text and photographs in black only.• Pages of a printed and bound book; double–sided, grayscale, text and photos.• Condition of the uncoated paper is slightly yellowed, good quality originals.• Book may be disassembled, reassembly not required. Books can be cut apart and do not need to be rebound.• Text is scanned separately from the images at 1200 ppi; the charts and images are scanned at 300 ppi and de–screened. The two files are then placed in a layout program to recreate the printed product.
