Food Bank Capital Needs

Pierce County is seeking proposals for equipment and capital needs for food banks, food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters, and food delivery programs located within Pierce County and serving Pierce County residents. Qualified organizations shall be competitively selected from this Request for Proposals (RFP). For this competition, the County estimates a total of $400,000.00 is available for one-time awards of up to $25,000 per location of the equipment or asset. Organizations may apply for more than one location. Additional federal, State, or local funds may become available during the contracting cycle and allocated through this RFP. Funding may only be awarded for the same scope of services as described in this RFP.
