CSE-23990 - USA (Waipahu, Hawaii) - Security Guard Services - Deadline July 30,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide security guard services to the government authority located in Waipahu, HI.• On–Call Security Services may be needed for various reasons which may include, but is not limited to, security at school–functioned events (extracurricular activities, sporting events) and protection ofschool/office property against the growing homeless population, criminal mischief, criminal trespassing, burglary, and theft.• Security Officer (SO) Abilities and Requirements 1. SO shall be capable of exercising good judgment and possess an even temperament.2. SO shall be able to verbally communicate effectively, read and follow simple instructions, andwrite simple reports.3. SO shall be well–rested, in good health, have refrained from consuming alcohol for 24 hoursprior to reporting for duty, and must be physically able to perform the job requirements thatincludes prolonged walking, staying awake, and being vigilant and alert at all times. 4. SO shall exercise caution in dealing with the public. The relationship between the SOs andthe public must be one of persuasion, tact, and diplomacy rather than one characterized asautocratic, condescending, or overbearing.5. SO shall be able to deal with students, staff, and the public in a positive manner. SOs shallbe able to maintain good relations and preserve order firmly without being arbitrarily tough or abusive.• SO Duties and Responsibilities1. Prevention of and protection against fire, theft, vandalism, burglaries, unauthorized entries tothe school property, and other irregularities.2. Conduct security checks of all buildings, parking lots, roadways, accessible classroom doors,grounds, entrance gates, perimeter fencing, and building gates as directed by the office/school administrator.3. Direct unauthorized persons to leave the premises and/or call the respective County’s PoliceDepartment.4. Upon reporting for service at the School or Office, SO shall help and provide advice toSchool/Office administrators on any security matters which may include, but is not limited to,best security practices to deter criminal trespassing, theft, burglary, and mischief, ifrequested.5. SOs shall report for duty at the requesting school/office at the agreed upon date and time. (2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 16, 2026
