Transit Shelter Construction - Request for Information

The City of Murfreesboro is preparing an upcoming Invitation to Bid for a Construction Contract for the Murfreesboro Transit Center and is requesting information from interested potential bidders. The 5.5 acre site location address is 324 New Salem Highway, Murfreesboro, TN at the corner of Bridge Avenue and New Salem Hwy. It will include a 10,000 SF Administration building, a 2,200 SF Transit Pavilion with 12 bus bays and canopies, and a 2,800 SF light Maintenance building. The current goal is to issue the ITB by end of April 2022 with Bid award and construction to begin end of July 2022. This project is partially funded with Federal funds and will have Buy America requirements. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE/MWBE/etc.) participation will be required. The City requests information to have a better understanding of the current market trends.
