(1) Vendor needs to provide planning consultant services to the government authority located in Canton, CT.– reviews and builds from the Town’s existing strategic planning framework and prior planning work;– updates and presents current demographic, land use, housing, economic, environmental, infrastructure, mobility, and other relevant community planning data;– meaningfully engages the public and a broad range of stakeholders in examining community values, identifying concerns, and shaping goals, policies, and action steps;– translates community input and technical analysis into clear strategic themes and implementation measures;– prepares a working draft and final draft Update suitable for municipal review and adoption; and– supports the Town in reforming and updating the process for continued monitoring and implementation of the updated plan(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 17, 2026.
