PURCHASE OF A NEW MEALS DELIVERY TRUCK FOR SENIOR CENTER RE-BID

The Town of Manchester seeks qualified vendors to design, build/manufacture a new meals delivery vehicle with hot and cold compartments for the storage, transport and delivery of hot and cold meals comparable to a "meals on wheels" or similar delivery vehicle. The vehicle must be able to transport a mix of prepared foods and maintain them at appropriately safe temperatures. This vehicle will be used to transport food items to and from the preparation site, to the Senior Center and/or various community locations. This vehicle should have the capability to operate in typical weather for the region, including inclement weather events. Funding for this project is provided by Community Development Block Grant Cares Act funding (CDBG-CV) and all contracts are awarded in accordance with the terms outlined in Attachment A - "CDBG Required Notices".
