Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Plant Design, Supply and Installation (Without Prequalification) (One - envelope Bidding Process Without Prequalification ) Employer : Taraba State Ministry o f Environment and Climate Change Project: Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL) Contract title : Interconnection of Jalingo Primary Water Supply Scheme Reservoir to the Existing Water Distributing Network Country: Nigeria Credit No. IDA-70150 RFB No.: NG-TARABA STATE ACRESAL-514820-CW-RFB The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Interconnection of Jalingo Primary Water Supply Scheme Reservoir to the Existing Water Distributing Network The State Project Management Unit (SPMU) of ACReSAL, Taraba State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Interconnection of Jalingo Primary Water Supply Scheme Reservoir to the Existing Water Distributing Network. The Works involves laying of DN300mm uPVC pipe from the foot of mount Jalingo to Mayo_Gwoi with a tee at Union bank to supply into Magami and roadblock- mile six -Kona respectively. The second DN300mm uPVC trunk is to run from the Jalingo hill to Ministry of finance round about and connect on existing transmission line running from Karofi to Doctors quarters. Both directions will have appropriate air valves and isolation valves pressure release valves etc. house in covered chambers . The Works is expected to be completed within the period of 12 months. Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from state project management unit (SPMU) of Taraba State ACReSAL office and inspect the Bidding document during office hours of 9am to 4pm (local time) at the address given below, excluding public holidays. The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN100,000.00) only. The method of payment will be by bank draft or direct transfer to; Bank Name: Zenith Bank Account Name: TARABA STATE ACReSAL Project Account Number: 1222829707 Proof of payment to be presented at the address below. At the bidder's request, the documents could also be sent by courier after paying an additional fee to cover the delivery cost. Bids must be delivered to the address below, on or before 12 noon on 3rd September 2026. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below by 12 noon on the 3rd September 2026. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” of NGN 80 Million or 60,000USD Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
