EXTRA-74597 - USA (Alameda, California) - Youth Diversion and Development Services - Deadline September 11,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide youth diversion and development services to the government authority located in Alameda, CA.– Agency is seeking to contract with organizations to provide Diversion and Development Services to Youth who have come into contact or are at risk of coming into contact with the justice system.– Proposers will also be responsible for developing a care plan for each Youth participant that is based on intake information and a strengths–based assessment questionnaire.– Provide agency to Youth referred by a Referring Partner for diversion and development services. – This will include, but not be limited to, Youth referred in lieu of arrest or citation for the following level of offense types:• Infractions and status offenses• Misdemeanors• Felonies– Provide individualized Care Coordination guided by principles of Youth Development with a strengths–based, healing and trauma–informed, restorative approach to Youth.– Take a Youth–centered approach and provide excellent customer service that is sensitive to the challenges that Youth and their families face, including but not limited to medical and behavioral health needs, as they maintain supportive services.– Provide meaningful service and demonstrate a commitment to community equity: program location, community leadership and staff that are representative of the communities being served.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 28, 2026.(4) Mandatory Virtual Proposers’ Conference will be held on August 25, 2026.
