The Santa Clara County Clerk-Recorder’s Office (REC) is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide professional services for film conversion to a digital format and document indexing services for official records that are currently stored in microfilm and microfiche. The County of Santa Clara’s official records date as far back as 1848 and it is digitizing all the official records that are currently stored in film or book format in phases. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to digitize records from years 1960 to 1979, an estimated volume of 4,767,543 documents with an average of 2 pages per document (9,535,086 estimated pages).
