(1) Vendor needs to provide independent auditing and certification services.– Certification and Audit Activities• Conducting certification, surveillance, and re–certification audits of the EPA’s integrated management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 requirements. – Note: ISO 50001 will only be integrated into the current EMS over the next one–two years.• Planning and delivering audits in line with the integrated ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 three–year certification cycle.• Auditing the agency Headquarters and designated Regional Inspectorates.• Preparing, issuing, and presenting formal audit reports and findings.• Making certification and re–certification recommendations in accordance with accreditation rules.• Verifying corrective actions arising from audit findings, where required.– The anticipated audit programme will include:• Surveillance audits in the intervening years of each certification cycle. Note: The Energy Management system will not form part of the first year of audit (2027).• Re–certification audits in the final year of each three–year cycle.• Multi–site surveillance and re–certification audits across agency locations, including Headquarters and Regional Inspectorates. All agency locations must be audited at least once in the three–yearly cycle.(2) The contract period will be for three years.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 18, 2026.
