(1) Vendor needs to provide transit bus and fleet technician support services to the government authority located in Blacksburg, VA.• Provide up to two on–site technicians to support and assist agency existing staff in the performance of maintenance on agency heavy–duty buses and fleet vehicles.• The staffing shortages often prevent agency from meeting full morning pull–out, resulting in reductions of service.• Agency active fleet is comprised of 49 heavy–duty buses (35–foot, 40–foot, and 60–foot), 17 Body–on–chassis (BOC) vehicles or vans and 16 support vehicles.• Of the heavy–duty buses, 28 are electric and the remainder are diesel.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 1, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
