(1) Vendor needs to provide wired and wireless connectivity services will replace its existing wireless communications infrastructure, which has reached end–of–life and no longer meets operational requirements to the government authority located in Wichita, KS.– The new system will provide reliable, secure, high–speed connectivity for water system operations through a combination of fiber–optic and wireless communications technologies.– The wireless communications system shall provide encrypted, high–speed point–to–point TCP/IP connectivity between designated facilities.– Secure encrypted communications (AES–256 or equivalent)– Full TCP/IP network transport capability– Industrial–grade reliability suitable for utility operations– High–Throughput and Scalable Connectivity: Provide network connectivity with a minimum capacity of 2.5 Gbps, scalable to 5 Gbps or greater, to support SCADA, telemetry, video surveillance, and future operational and bandwidth requirements without requiring replacement of the core network infrastructure.– Fiber Infrastructure Requirements• Installation of underground fiber–optic cable between designated facilities• In addition to the standard pull boxes installed along the path, installation of approximately 25 Quazite access boxes/handholes at specific points along the fiber routes.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 10, 2026.
