Spring Street Water Distribution Loop

Formal bids will be received by Social Circle for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for Spring Street Water Distribution Loop Project. Bids will be received at the Social Circle City Hall, 166 North Cherokee Road, Social Circle, Georgia 30025 until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at this time and location. All bids will be evaluated by OWNER and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the bid opening. Electronic copies of Contract Documents, Specifications, and Construction Drawings may be obtained from Precision Planning, Inc. upon request being emailed to Natalie Pifer at 861np@ppi.us. CONTRACTORS and SUBCONTRACTORS quoting on this Project will be required to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws. The City of Social Circle reserves the right to waive any informalities and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of Social Circle. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be required. In lieu of a bid bond, a cashier's check, cash or an irrevocable letter of credit may be accepted. Both a performance and payment bond will be required in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Proof of workers compensation and liability insurance will be required with the City of Social Circle named as additional insured. Contractor�s must also provide a Contractor Affidavit verifying compliance with the Federal Work Authorization Program known as E-Verify. This form must be notarized.
