Vendor needs to provide crisis intervention teams and adjacent system transformation programs services to the government authority located in Albany, NY. – The Crisis Intervention Team program is a partnership of law enforcement, mental health and addiction professionals, individuals who live with mental illness and substance use disorders, their families, and other partners to improve community responses to mental health crises. – To develop a more informed, empathic and effective crisis response system that is the least intrusive in a person's life.– To help people who are experiencing an emotional crisis access medical/mental health treatment for illness related behaviors and avert the need for criminal justice system involvement.– To assume responsibility for the selection process of crisis intervention teams sites, coordination and facilitation of training, and the delivery of on–going technical assistance to the selected crisis intervention teams sites.
