Environmental Consulting & Analytical Services

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Offeror” or “Consultant”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and proposals will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to acquire the services of an experienced consultant to provide environmental consulting and analytical services related to the City's Landfills and resource recovery. The services under this Contract are required to support the City's overarching objective of achieving a cost efficient and compliant waste management program, in accordance with the Virginia Solid Waste Management Regulations, as well as meeting all requirements outlined by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR).
