  "summary": "<p>The Ketchikan Gateway Borough desires a qualified Design-Build team to reconstruct the South Tongass Fire Station #4 located at 5690 Roosevelt Drive in Ketchikan, Alaska. Work will consist of restoring the 6,000-s.f., two-story building of Type V-A construction to usability. Restoration work will include assessing sufficiency of existing water and sewer piping, hydronic water supply, and electrical conduits throughout the building, and repair or replacement of all damage services; installation of new electrical, lighting, mechanical and plumbing fixtures throughout the building; repair or replacement of fire damaged framing elements; replacement of all wall, floor, and ceiling finishes, and interior doors; replacement of garage doors; and selective demolition and replacement of fire-damaged windows and siding.</p><p>Design services will include design and installation of a new sprinkler system, and review of electric circuits to ensure sufficient supply for the operations of the building under current operational load.</p>",
