(1) Vendor needs to provide after hours telephone answering and coverage service.– Telephone Answering Services during non–business hours. Services include receiving initial calls reporting deaths and the necessary follow up procedures required to meet the operational needs for the office and investigations.– This normally includes from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, all hours during weekends and 13 recognized holidays per year.– Receive and process death reports:– Answer incoming telephone calls regarding reportable deaths.– Obtain and document caller information, including agency affiliation and contact information.– Determine the nature and urgency of each report.– Collect decedent demographics.– Gather scene information.– Obtain circumstantial information.– Collect medical and social history.– Documentation and data entry.– Communication and case coordination.– Administrative support:– Maintain call logs and other required records. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 09, 2026.
