The system was originally commissioned in 2019 and has been operated by Waste + Renewables staff since 2021. Additionally, the volume of gas is projected to exceed the current RNG Facility capacity in the near future. Interested firms will submit proposals in order to construct and deliver a new RNG upgrading facility. Firms may also propose replacement of key equipment of the current facility to achieve the same objectives. The selected Firm will be expected to deliver final designs to achieve higher upgrading efficiency, lower downtimes, and longer operational lifespan. The selected Firm will be expected to provide system design, procurement, full construction oversight, and final commissioning. W+R encourages proposers to review available information and propose an approach that aligns with the project objectives and the scope outlined within this RFP.
