Ontario International Airport (ONT) has undergone a remarkable transformation in the decade since local control was restored. What was once a regional, primarily domestic medium-hub airport has evolved into a dynamic international gateway, one defined by rapid growth, strategic investment, and a renewed commitment to delivering an exceptional passenger experience. ONT has modernized its terminals, improvements in infrastructure, strengthened airline partnerships, expanded global routes and invested in products, services and amenities that reflect the Inland Empire’s momentum and Southern California’s unique culture. Through this evolution, ONT’s Communications & Marketing efforts have played a pivotal role in elevating the airport’s reputation and expanding its presence across all levels of the marketing funnel. From building baseline awareness to securing a meaningful place in the consideration set, ONT has steadily increased passenger preference and engagement. Today, the airport is on the cusp of achieving true audience loyalty, a milestone that positions ONT as not only a convenient and easy experience but also posits the So Cal competitor set as the alternative to using ONT. With this RFP, ONT seeks a bold, innovative Agency of Record to help propel the brand’s next chapter. The airport is ready to accelerate its trajectory, deepen customer affinity, and further strengthen its standing as a leader in airport marketing, brand experience, and industry partnership. The selected agency will join ONT at a moment of momentum, charged with pushing creative boundaries, amplifying ONT’s voice, and shaping the brand’s continued ascent on the regional, national, and global stage.
