Carter Gallier Boulevard Extension

Powhatan County has received and accepted for conceptual review an unsolicited proposal from Benchmark Construction pursuant to the Virginia Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 (PPEA), Code of Virginia § 56-575.1 et seq., and the County of Powhatan, Virginia Guidelines for the Implementation of the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002. The proposal is for the construction of the Carter Gallier Boulevard Extension.Powhatan County intends to evaluate the proposal and may negotiate an interim or comprehensive agreement with the proposer based on the proposal. The County will also accept and consider any competing proposals that comply with the PPEA and the County's Guidelines.
