(CAGE: 81868) for the Electirc Latch Testerr, Part Number: 51500–100, NSN: [ phno? redacted ]041.The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302–1(b), “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements“ for this action. Evident Scientific, as the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of PN 51500–100, owns the proprietary data and as such is the only source with the knowledge and expertise necessary to manufacture this item. The Government does not have the technical data or equipment to obtain this item from an alternate source.(THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES). However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within five (5) calendar days after the date of the publication of this Bonded Materials Tester PN: B600EMI–MN01 synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
