Vendor needs to provide social security benefits training services to the government authority located in Columbia, SC. – Provide training and technical support to agency benefits specialist staff. – Provide professional training, technical assistance, and support services to assist the agency in strengthening its Social Security benefits counseling program, ensuring compliance with Social Security Administration (SSA) requirements, maximizing reimbursement opportunities, and enhancing staff knowledge and capabilities.• Policy and procedure evaluation: Review and evaluate the agency’s current benefits counseling policies, procedures, forms, and practices.• Meeting participation: • Social Security Administration (SSA) reimbursement assistance: Provide guidance and technical assistance to the agency in completing and submitting all necessary documentation and processes required by the SSA for reimbursement claims related to benefits counseling services.• Historical reimbursement research: Assist the agency in researching and reviewing previous payments and reimbursements received from the SSA for benefits counseling services provided to beneficiaries who achieved gainful employment.• Benefits specialist training: Provide comprehensive, hands–on training to the agency’s benefits specialists.– Education on the SSA Ticket to Work (TTW) program, including federal reporting requirements, compliance obligations, and effective methods for communicating program benefits to social security beneficiaries.– Instruction on the interaction between earned income and social security disability benefit eligibility, including work incentives and program regulations.• Technical assistance and documentation support: Provide technical guidance navigating and utilizing the SSA ticket portal.
