REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL SELECTION) COUNTRY: UGANDA Project Name: Horn of Africa Coordination Support Team Fiduciary Institution Project Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No.: TF0B7882 Project ID No.: P178159 Assignment Name Proc Ref No as per Procurement Plan 1 Senior Program Officer- (Officer-in-Charge) UG-IUCEA-577529-CS-INDV The Inter University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Horn of Africa Coordination Support Team Fiduciary Institution Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) ie Senior Program Officer (Officer-in-charge). In charge of Horn of Africa Initiative secretariat in Nairobi, Kenya and manage the high-level stakeholders under the HoAI including but not limited to the Development Partners, and respective Ministers from the HoA. IUCEA now invites eligible individuals (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services in their updated Curriculum Vitae. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. The individuals will be selected in accordance with the Individual Consultant Selection (ICS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations as Revised November 2020.
