Purchase and Install of Natural Gas Generators - Water Plant No. 2 & Water Plant No. 4

The City of Rosenberg is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the following: Water Plant No. 2 - 1415 Alamo Street, Rosenberg, TX 77471 Removal of One (1) existing 350kw Diesel Generator and 600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch and Pad Purchase and Turnkey Installation of One (1) Permanent 400kw Natural Gas Generator and 800 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch on new engineered concrete pad Water Plant No. 4 - 3720 Airport Road RR, Rosenberg, TX 77471 Removal of One (1) existing 350kw Diesel Generator and 600 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch, Pad and Weather Cover Structure Purchase and Turnkey Installation of One (1) Permanent 400kw Natural Gas Generator and 800 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch on a new engineered concrete pad These generators will mitigate the above locations from power loss due to natural hazards. The generators will be installed with an automatic transfer switch (as specified herein) on concrete pads as specified herein. The project will be in compliance with latest edition of codes and standards required by Federal, State and Local rules and regulations. Contractor shall be responsible for final connection to the gas meters. This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance will be used to fund all or a portion of the contract. The selected contractor will comply with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, wage documentation and directives.
