Connect Card Technical Consultant Services (RFQ# 201920-03)

The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) invites your firm to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide technical assistance for the final implementation of the region’s smart card system, Connect Card. The consultant awarded may also be asked to develop a technical analysis of Connect Card’s potential pathways for evolving in the rapidly changing industry. The consultant must be a technical expert in the smart-card transit fare systems industry, must be knowledgeable about industry best practices, and must have experience in implementing smart transit fare systems. SACOG is seeking these professional services to support final implementation of the system and to provide the technical expertise needed to make well-informed decisions for the system. Through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), SACOG will select one or more eligible consultants with which SACOG may contract to provide these services for a 1-year period, with the possibility of extension.
