NORTH A CAMPUS EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR SINGLE ADULTS

The County of Sacramento Department of Homeless Services and Housing (DHSH) is seeking to contract with one emergency shelter provider to provide year-around 24/7 emergency shelter and support services at the County owned facility located at 1400 North A Street to homeless adult individuals 18 years of age and older who have become homeless while residing in Sacramento County. Employing housing focused and low-barrier practices as detailed below, the provider will serve 80 participants per night. The provider will focus onsite services on rapid rehousing and will actively collaborate with community partners to provide other supportive services, such as employment and housing referral, mental health, alcohol and other drug treatment. The provider will accommodate single person with complex needs, such as substance use disorders, domestic violence or mental health.
