The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiations to provide Hanover County Government, Hanover County Public Schools, Pamunkey Regional Jail Authority and Pamunkey Regional Library (hereinafter referred to as County) benefits consulting services. The consultant will assist County staff in the selection and monitoring and strategic planning of benefit programs that are currently offered, or may be offered in the future, to County employees and retirees. The County is interested in a firm with a demonstrated record of taking a creative, innovative approach to the rising costs of health care and employee benefits, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
