SW-119717 - USA (South Carolina) - Weather Forecasting Solution - Deadline September 24,2026

Description

(1) Vendor needs to provide weather forecasting solution.– Capability to evaluate and demonstrate a rapidly deployable, integrated, and scalable solution for processing and visualizing polar–orbiting satellite data in extremely remote, degraded, and disconnected environments.– System's ability to operate reliably on limited local computing footprints, ingest raw polar–orbiting satellite data locally without relying on high–bandwidth reach back, translate data into non–proprietary open formats, and reduce the latency of delivering actionable meteorological visualization.– Delivering real–time, non–proprietary polar satellite imagery and localized weather modelling directly to remote airfields drastically reduces the risk of “boomerang“ flights and prevents catastrophic landing accidents in extreme whiteout conditions.• The software must support high–availability and rapid deployment on standard–issue backup workstations to facilitate Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. • Different visible spectrum layers from polar satellite sensors will need to be visualized as well as wind data.
