(1) Vendor needs to provide intelligent transportation system. – Provide an ITS solution to be implemented on 32 vehicles that comprise the current bus fleet.– Proposer shall provide a detailed description of the ITS maintenance plan. Proposer should specify per–vehicle costs vs system–wide costs where applicable. Proposer will provide a schedule for the maintenance plan that specifies annual costs for each year.– The System shall supply the public with real–time bus location information, schedule information, service alerts, and links to other service information. These features shall be accessible to the public through a desktop website and mobile application. – The Website should be compatible with all major web browsers currently in use and be intuitive for the average user while providing accurate transit travel information. – The mobile application and alert system allow customers to subscribe to alerts that would only affect specific routes, specific stops, or specific trip time. – The solution must be a cloud–native system without the need for on–premises installation of any kind.– The system must be available to users 24x7x365, with an uptime surpassing 99.5%.– The Contractor shall supply all hardware, software, installation, maintenance, annual support, training, and warranty necessary to deliver a fully functional System as specified in this Request for Proposal.– Contractor shall provide 24/7 support when needed in case of severe emergencies. Contractor shall respond to issues in a timely fashion.– User Interface must be available in both Dark Mode and Light Mode. – Each user must be able to configure their own environment and save their environment for retrieval when they log into the system. – The proposer shall provide a timeline of future system developments at no additional charge including but not limited to: incremental planned software revisions, software minor updates, software major updates, hardware updates, and new feature rollouts. – Proposer shall provide Automatic Vehicle Location on all vehicles. Proposers should identify the manufacturer and model for the GPS tracking unit and antenna. (Internal tablet GPS antennas cannot be used for the purpose of AVL tracking for fixed route vehicles.) – The system shall provide a comprehensive set of Computer Aided Dispatch features that will allow for effective and efficient monitoring and control of fixed–route vehicles. – The interactive map shall have the ability to pan and zoom in and out, and restrict the display to show specific vehicle(s), route(s), area, etc. Proposer should provide examples of CAD map displays. – Ability to assign/correct Bus Assignments remotely from Dispatch. – Proposers shall provide an unlimited number of licenses/users to the platform/CAD software. – The system should allow for remote access to the agency allowing dispatch/management to see what the driver is seeing, adjust settings, or restart the device remotely. – The system MUST work with both schedule–based and frequency–based service types. – The system shall provide a customer platform. – The system shall support multiple CAD users without creating data conflicts with or overriding actions by other users. (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 28, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on August 10, 2026.
