1) Vendor needs to provide professional design and engineering services to the government authority located in Rockford, IL. – The project consists of the complete assessment, design, and replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a modern, open–platform fire alarm and emergency communications system.– Reliability and code compliance – Long–term maintainability – System testing and diagnostics – Future expandability and modifications – Integration with existing building automation and monitoring systems – Off–site notification using app or web–based software – Discovery Center Museum and administrative offices – Rockford Art Museum, offices, and art storage vault – Verify existing fire alarm system devices, conduit, wiring, and infrastructure – Conduct field surveys of all internal building areas. – Verify existing as–built conditions Design Services(2) Non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on September 8, 2026.
