(1) Vendor needs to provide high speed telecommunications service to the government authority located in Erie, NY.– Fiber Optic network shall consist of six pair of strands (or less as requested) of single mode fiber optic cable. – All fiber–to–fiber, fiber–to–pigtail, or any other splices will be made with fusion splicing methods. All splices will be non–reflective.– Each connector will meet or exceed 50dB return loss, and will have insertion loss less than 0.6dB.– It is the Service Provider’s option to provide a d–marc compatible with an Avaya or Cisco Networks Network Switch, or provide a specific GBIC to interface with the customer premise equipment as listed in the location specifications
