(1) Vendor needs to provide crisis intervention program weapon storage services to the government authority located in Maine.– Provides formula funds to assist state, local, and tribal efforts to prevent or reduce crime and violence, with a particular focus on gun violence and the programs and initiatives that target the risk factors that are likely to lead to this kind of violence.– Enhance law enforcement efforts to effectively and efficiently store and track weapons that are relinquished to law enforcement.– Program include upgrading agency storage facilities, purchasing software and technologies to track relinquished firearms; and purchase of gun locks or other safety devices. (2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 11, 2026.
