(1) Vendor needs to provide employee benefits broker partner service to the government authority located in AL.• Find a broker with a strong Southeast presence and a track record with small non–profits.• Serve as broker of record for agency medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits.• Provide plan design consultation, including alternative funding options (level–funded and self–funded).• Lead annual renewal negotiations and bring proactive, competitive market comparisons at each renewal.• Support open enrollment with employee–facing education and materials.• Provide ongoing compliance guidance, including COBRA, ACA, and multi–state employment considerations.• Assign a named account team with published response time standards.• Help agency communicate and get more value from our existing wellness resources, including our EAP.• Disclose all broker compensation in writing, including commissions, fees, and any carrier incentives.– Wellness Support• A strategy for helping our team understand and use the wellness resources we already offer.• A data–driven engagement approach, not just a vendor referral.– Fee Transparency• Broker compensation disclosed in writing: commission, fee–based, or both.• No hidden overrides or undisclosed carrier incentives.• Willingness to put the fee structure in the contract.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 25, 2026.
