Refrigeration Maintenance

The College is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance services for refrigeration equipment located throughout the campus. Covered equipment includes, but is not limited to, walk-in coolers and freezers, reach-in refrigerators and freezers, ice machines, and other commercial refrigeration units manufactured by major brands commonly used in institutional settings. Services shall include, but are not limited to: Routine inspections Cleaning of coils, condensers, and evaporators Testing of temperature controls, defrost systems, and safety devices Checking and adjustment of refrigerant levels and system pressures Inspection for leaks, wear, and potential failures Documentation of all work performed All services must ensure continued equipment performance and reliability, and must comply with applicable State of California Mechanical Code requirements, as well as any relevant environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling, recovery, and disposal.
