LEGAL DEFENSE OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION CLAIMS

The County of Orange, herein referred to as “County” is seeking qualified attorneys and law firms to provide legal defense services as part of the County Executive Office/Risk Management Workers’ Compensation Legal Defense Panel. The services to be provided will include but are not limited to initial case evaluations, developing a plan of action for claim resolution, planning and executing discovery, evaluating exposure for further litigation and/or settlement and preparing for and handling all Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board appearances, trials and appeals , if necessary. Each interested law firm wishing to be considered (“Respondent”) must satisfy the requirements and follow the submittal procedures set forth below. Respondent shall have a thorough knowledge of workers’ compensation claim issues and be able to analyze the value of a case without knowledge of claim reserve amounts.
