Description
The City of Clermont is seeking bids from qualified contractors to replace the existing proprietary Simplex fire alarm system at City Hall with a new, fully addressable, non-proprietary fire alarm system. The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, and permits necessary to deliver a complete and code-compliant installation. The scope includes the removal of the existing fire alarm control panel and devices, as well as the installation of a new non-proprietary control panel, annunciator, detectors, manual pull stations, and notification appliances. Existing wiring and conduit may be reused where acceptable and compliant. The completed system shall meet the requirements of the Florida Building Code, Florida Fire Prevention Code, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, and all other applicable standards. Contractors must hold valid Florida licenses and employ NICET-certified personnel. The estimated contract value is $90,000.
