Fiber and Conduit Installation

The project can be generally described as: Installing new both excavation and directional drilling and routing of new fiber optic cable. At the terminations the fiber will be connected into five (5) different communication rooms. 2-2-inch conduits shall be installed a minimum of 36-inches in depth with handholes spaced at a maximum distance of 600 feet. Pull strings will be installed in each conduit along with copper tracer line installed. The handholes should be approximately 2’ x 4’ x 3’ and will be made of concrete. The fiber shall be 48 strand, single mode and will be tested, terminated and labeled. The fiber shall be the direct buried with rigid backbone. ST connectors shall be used and prefer Leviton or approval equal.
