(1) Vendor needs to provide independent financial and state compliance audit services for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2026, 2027, and 2028 to the government authority located in Moab, UT.• Express an opinion on the fair presentation of agency basic financial statements in conformity with GAAP standards.• Perform tests of compliance with provisions of laws, regulations, contracts, and guidelines specified in the state legal compliance audit guide (including areas like budgeting, open and public meetings, and cash management).• Prepare and issue the independent auditor’s report, report on internal control over financial reporting, and the state compliance report.• Critical Deliverable Deadline: For each audit cycle, fieldwork must be scheduled dynamically to ensure that the final, completed audit reports are delivered no later than May 30th of the following calendar year (e.g., the FY2026 audit must be completed by May 30, 2027).• Present the final audited financial statements and findings to the Governing Board during a public meeting.
