Avaya Session Border Controller (SBC) Equipment Installation

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking proposals to Provide, Install and test (2) Avaya Virtual SBC appliances with associated licensing for 300 channels SIP trunking from Lumen and their Voice call complete package with E911 services, and 50 channels and associated Avaya licensing to Microsoft teams utilizing the Teams Direct routing integration. RTD currently leverages an Avaya Aura platform with 13 PSTN T1 trunks and (2) Avaya Session Managers. To support this integration the two Virtual Avaya SBC’s will be deployed in the primary datacenter and the backup data center to support the connectivity to the Avaya Session Managers, LUMEN PSTN SIP connectivity, and Microsoft Teams. Chosen vendor will work with RTD, Lumen and Microsoft support to Plan, design and rollout connectivity for requested services. Selected Vendor will also coordinate with RTD staff for proof-of-concept deployment & training for five (5) Teams clients. E911 service coordination with lumen will be completed by selected vendor, Lumen and RTD. Individual e911 site entry into Lumen E911 system will be completed by RTD with site testing to be completed by Selected vendor with Lumen Communications.
