Palmdale Water District is seeking bids to construct a water conservation garden. The conservation garden will consist of grubbing the existing site (sod, groundcover and protection of existing trees, providing and installing drought tolerant plants, various landscaping materials, in-ground concrete arena that will fit up to 70 people, public benches, a shade structure to cover the in-ground arena, educational boards with information on the plants and other materials used as part of the garden and shown in the landscape plan . The main purpose of the conservation garden is to have a location where children and our customers can learn different ways that they can conserve water through varying type of drought tolerant landscaping.
