Vendor needs to provide inpatient and outpatient claims coding, billing and collection services to the government authority located in West Virginia.• Comprehensive Inpatient and Outpatient Claims Coding Services, Billing Services and Collection Services for the State owned and operated hospital facilities. • The services will complete abstracting of claims data from the clinical system inside of the facilities data systems prior to submitting to the clearinghouse.• Responsible for patient care whether or not coverage is available. Patients are admitted to the psychiatric facilities by judges when the patient is found to be incompetent to stand trial, or by mental hygiene commissioners for evaluation.• Maintain the staffing levels needed to perform the services for the duration of the contract and provide monthly staffing reports. • Viewing and report performance access to administration for the vendor’s chosen claims clearinghouse electronic eligibility system.• Maintain audit logs for all portal actives and must maintain a credential lifecycle plan• Responsible for any reimbursements, fines and penalties resulting from assigning improper coding or billing not supported by proper provider documentation except for instances where the facilities provided inaccurate medical information.• Responsible for providing all materials and resources required for the performance of the contract including to, third party audit compliance, facilities, equipment, cyber liability insurance, errors and omissions insurance, statements, postage and personnel.
