(1) Vendor needs to provide invasive species management services to prepare a lake management strategy to combat invasive species and implement short–term herbicide treatment.– An evaluation of Town’s current management strategy including aeration system. Firms shall provide a written assessment and include recommendation for repair, rehabilitation or enhancement.o Recommendations for annual herbicide application. Sampling, surveying and reporting on water quality and chemistry.o Non–chemical treatments, best management practices and permitting requirements as applicable.o Sampling, surveying and reporting on water quality and chemistry.o Public outreach and education.o Mitigation plan and strategy for the reestablishment of native species to prevent recurrence of invasive species. Preparation of planting plan prepared by a qualified soil scientist, wetlands expert, professional engineer, etc.(2) All question must be submitted no later than October 23, 2026.
