(1) Vendor needs to provide pet insurance service to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA.• The pet insurance plan must meet the following minimum standards:• No–Cost to Agency The insurance plan must be provided at zero cost to agency. No reimbursement models will be accepted.• Illness and Accident Coverage Provide coverage for the diagnosis and treatment of common and serious illnesses, injuries resulting from accidents, emergency care, hospitalization, surgery, and prescription medications.• Wellness and Preventive Care Include a wellness package that covers:o Annual examso Vaccinationso Flea/tick and heartworm preventiono Routine bloodworko Dental cleanings (if applicable)(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 15, 2026.
