(1) Vendor needs to provide construction management engineering services to the government authority located in Chicago, IL. – Work includes, furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, coordination, temporary works, and incidentals necessary to remove the existing railroad bridge concrete and timber structures and construct the new bridge structure while maintaining safe railroad operations and protecting the surrounding waterway, utilities, and adjacent facilities.– The work includes demolition and removal of the existing superstructure, substructure elements,foundations, and appurtenances as required, installation of temporary shoring, shielding, access, work platforms, causeway and cofferdams, erosion and sediment control measures, and creek protection measures, groundwater testing and discharge, construction of new foundations, substructure units, bridge seats, bearings, superstructure, deck cover plates, waterproofing, drainage, and relatedstructural components, design, installation, and removal of temporary utility support and utility coordination, relocation, protection, and restoration, roadway, pathway, embankment, slope, drainage, and site restoration work impacted by construction, landscaping, installation of riprap, grading, and earthwork, coordination with agency forces, operations, signal, communications and third–party agencies, implementation of traffic control, pedestrian control, environmental protection, and safety measures, and completion of testing, inspections, as–built documentation, punch list work, and final restoration necessary to place the replacement bridge into service.(2) Virtual pre–bid meeting will be held on September 23, 2026.
