(1) Vendor needs to provide security services to the government authority located in St. Thomas, VI. – To provide armed and unarmed security services.– To providing the highest level and quality of service to passengers, visitors, and employees• Each officer’s appearance and demeanor while wearing a uniform, while on duty, shall always be such as to reflect a positive professional image, and a complete uniform must be always worn. • Report for duty promptly at the start of the shift, so that special instructions (if any) may be received. • Provide consistent and systematic patrols throughout agency facilities. • Challenge and/or deny access to all unauthorized persons and vehicles into agency designated restricted areas. • Maintain a security log in accordance with agency current Facility Security Plan. • Adhere to agency security protocol in the event of security breaches. • Recognize and detect dangerous substances and devices. • Enact methods to effectively maintain crowd management and control • Use alternatives methods to avoid physical conflict whenever possible. • Recognize characteristics and behavior of persons who are likely to threaten security. • Conduct physical screening of vehicles, persons, personal effects, and baggage (2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 20, 2026.
