Vendor needs to provide planning and zoning services to the government authority located in Oscoda, MI.• The selected consultant will support the township board, planning commission, zoning administration, and township staff on a range of land use, development review, ordinance, and planning matters.• Review of site plans, special land use applications, rezoning requests, ordinance interpretations, and other development proposals.• Preparation of written planning memoranda, staff reports, findings, recommendations, and draft motions for township boards and commissions.• Attendance at planning commission, township board, workshop, or public hearing meetings as requested in person or virtually.• Assistance with zoning ordinance amendments, policy updates, procedural improvements, and related land use documents.• Support for master plan implementation, long–range planning, redevelopment issues, and other community development initiatives.• Coordination with township staff, legal counsel, engineers, and other consultants as needed.
